1️⃣ Ganesh Chaturthi: Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chavithi is a favorable Hindu celebration for 10 days every year. It denotes the birthday of the cherished elephant-headed Lord Ganesha.


Ganesha is the younger son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. There are different stories behind his birth yet two of them are the most well-known. According to the first story, Lord Ganesha was made by Parvati out of soil from her body in the absence of Shiva. The other popular story is that the Devas demanded Shiva and Parvati to make Ganesha with a goal that he can be a Vighnakarta for rakshasas.
